How to download and install the dewa99 app
Our dewa99 mobile installation follows a straightforward four-step path. First, visit our platform from your mobile browser and locate the "App" section in the menu — you'll see buttons for Android, iOS, and Web. Android users tap the Android APK button; your device downloads a file ending in.apk. iOS users proceed directly to step two, as we optimise the web app for Safari's full-screen mode. Once the file downloads (usually 20–50 MB for Android), you'll need to enable installation from unknown sources in your device settings — this is a standard Android security step that takes 10 seconds to toggle. After you allow unknown sources, tap the downloaded file and follow the install prompts. Within a minute, the dewa99 app icon appears on your home screen.
-
Download the APK or access the web app
Tap the Android button on our app page, or open Safari and add dewa99 to your home screen via the share menu (iOS).
-
Allow installation from unknown sources (Android only)
Go to Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps, then select your browser and toggle permission.
-
Tap the file and complete installation
The APK installs in seconds; you see a confirmation when the app is ready to launch.
-
Open the app, log in, and start using dewa99
Your account, balance, and deposit methods are immediately available; no re-registration needed.
dewa99 app versus browser: what you gain
Our native Android app and optimised web version each have strengths. The app stores a local cache of game libraries, odds feeds, and recent transactions, so even if your network drops momentarily, you can still view your balance and recent bets without waiting for a re-download. Push notifications on the app alert you to new football markets opening, live-dealer table seats becoming available, and withdrawal confirmations — features the browser version cannot provide. The app also loads marginally faster on slow 3G or 4G links because it skips repeated header downloads. However, the web version (iOS and Android) requires no installation permission changes, updates automatically when we push new features, and works identically across all browsers. If you prefer simplicity and do not want to enable unknown sources on Android, the web version is your straightforward choice. Both versions connect to the identical dewa99 backend, so your account balance, deposit history, and two-factor authentication settings stay in sync whether you log in from the app or the browser.
Device compatibility and minimum requirements
We support Android 7.0 and later on the native app, covering the vast majority of phones in use across Indonesia. For iOS, our optimised web app works on iOS 12 and later in Safari — no separate iOS app download is needed. Your device should have at least 50 MB of free storage for the Android APK, though we recommend 100 MB to allow room for game assets and cached data. If your device is older or runs a version below Android 7.0, you can still access dewa99 via the mobile web browser, which has fewer hardware requirements. We regularly test the app on popular models (Samsung Galaxy, Xiaomi Redmi, Oppo, Vivo, and iPhone 8 and later) to ensure smooth performance and compatibility.
Troubleshooting common installation issues
The most frequent Android installation error is "Certificate untrusted" — this occurs if your device clock is set incorrectly or if you are behind a corporate proxy. Restart your device to sync the clock with your network, then try downloading again. If the error persists, clear your browser cache (Settings → Apps → [your browser] → Storage → Clear Cache) and download the APK once more. A second common issue is "Unknown source blocked" — this simply means you have not yet enabled installation from unknown sources. Revisit Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps, find your browser, and toggle the switch. Some older Samsung phones label this setting differently under "Apps from unknown sources" in the main Settings menu. On iOS, if the home-screen shortcut does not work, try adding dewa99 via Safari's share button again, and ensure you select "Add to Home Screen" (not "Add to Reading List"). If you receive a "storage full" message, uninstall unused apps or move photos to cloud storage, then retry the download.
Data, permissions, and account security on mobile
When you install the dewa99 app, Android requests permission to access your device storage (for caching game assets), your internet connection, and — on some devices — your camera (for ID verification during KYC). We never access your photo library, contacts, or call history. All data transmitted between your device and our dewa99 servers is encrypted using standard TLS protocols. Your login session on the app is tied to your device — if someone else logs into your account from a different phone, you receive a notification and can immediately log them out via the app's security settings. We recommend setting a strong password (at least 12 characters, mixing uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols) and enabling two-factor authentication in your account preferences. If you lose your phone, you can log into your dewa99 account from any browser, change your password, and disable your old device's session from the "Active sessions" panel. Your withdrawal requests are not processed immediately even on the app — they still undergo the same manual fraud-review window as desktop requests, ensuring no unauthorised transfers occur.
